New, improved calibrations for the full mission time frame were released March 2007 for PEACE LEEA and HEEA. The following data products are affected:
- Group 1: 3DR, 3DX1P, 3DX2P
- Group 2: 3DF, 3DX1, 3DX1E, 3DX2, 3DX2E, LER, PAD, SPINPAD
Group 1: Improved inter-anode calibrations affecting anode-pairs
Groups 1 and 2: Improved correction for the effects of time-dependent gain variations in the detectors
Groups 1 and 2: Improved energy independent geometric factor correction
These revised calibrations will allow more accurate generation of moments using ground calculations, e.g. using "peacemoments" software available from MSSL, especially when using Group 1 data products.
Further improvements are planned.
